The “Food Call Market” is a nomadic food market that aspires to become the monthly appointment of those who love food and are looking for new flavors in Athens. The first edition of the market, the first “meet point” for the “Food Call” community, is set for the Museum of Greek Gastronomy on the 7th and 8th of March 2015, from 11:00 to 20:00.

The aim of the “Food Call Market” is to bring together producers and consumers, to highlight and promote good food, desserts and drinks through each producer, chef, pastry chef, food-blogger, but also housewifes, backpackers and anyone who has a talent for cooking and baking and wants to sell their products. It is a two-day celebration of taste, arranged in different – modern – way each time, depending on the participants and culinary trends, accompanied with presentations by renowned chefs, food-bloggers, lectures by nutritionists and dj sets.

During the first Food Call Market at the Museum of Greek Gastronomy, there will be presented live recipes from foodbloggers Eva Monochari (Funky Cook) and Athena Panou (Sugar Buzz), using the participants’ products. At the same time, from the first day of operation, the «FoodCall Market” connects it’s activity to social contribution through the participation of Wise Greece. All profits from the sales of Wise Greece’s products will be distributed, in cooperation with the «FoodCall Market”, to a charitable foundation in the form of food, to aid our fellow humans in need.
